The 5km route is through Manningtree, Mistley, and Furze Hills. It will take in a Green thought to be used for hanging witches, the Ducking Pond, the Courtroom and other local sites including the Walls, the Mistley Towers and Old Knobbley; an oak tree thought to be 800 years old! Continuing along a short section of the Essex Way the route finishes at Acorn Village for tea and medals.

Please Note: Most road sections of this route are not closed to public traffic. We have requested a temporary road closure for South Street however we cannot guarantee traffic will adhere to this. There will be marshals at the main junctions and your safety is paramount, please be extremely cautious particularly while travelling down South Street.
